A emperor penguin's baby was born on October 17, 2016.

The emperor penguin is the biggest of all living penguin species. We started to raise emperor penguins in 1997, and succeeded to breed them for the first time in Japan in 2004.
We have succeeded to breed 9 babies, and now, the 10th baby was born.

Birth weight : 290g

The baby penguin is in the backyard.
