A place to observe life, keep asking questions, and discover the beauty of life.
With this in mind, we use the power of edutainment to create heartwarming experiences. We cherish the moments when every visitor discovers the 'beauty of life' through love, connection, and possibility. We hope that the insights gained from these amazing and moving experiences will eventually lead to a world where 'everyone shines bright.' Adventure World will keep pushing forward!
Awaji's SDGs Declaration
Our Earth is home to beautiful nature, rich environments, diverse living creatures, and a wide variety of people.
At Awaji, guided by our philosophy of being a 'Smile Company that creates heartfelt moments,' we're working with partners worldwide to achieve the Well-being (living better) that the SDGs aim for. Our goal is to create a bright and prosperous society overflowing with happiness. We want our 'Smile' to spread to animals, nature, everyone we connect with, society, and the future, creating a cycle where everyone on this Earth can shine bright like a star. We'll continue to be a presence like the sun, radiating that light.
Moving forward, we'll keep working across generations, sharing wisdom, and joining hands to create a circular society that celebrates the diversity and sustainability of all life. We'll keep sending smiles to the future, 100 years from now!
SDGs stands for 'Sustainable Development Goals.' These are 17 goals and 169 targets designed to solve global issues and create a brighter future for everyone by 2030.
It's an international goal that was unanimously adopted by 193 member states at the UN Headquarters in New York in September 2015.
Awaji's Smile Circular Model
Guided by our corporate philosophy, 'Smile Company that creates heartfelt moments,' we've envisioned a future where the 'Smile' (happiness) we create spreads globally from today into the future. Through partnerships, we'll create 'Future Smiles' that eventually circulate, contributing to the sustainable society that the SDGs aim to achieve.
Smile Company that creates heartfelt moments
Using our six capitals and three core values (compassion, honesty, and positivity), we create special 'moments' and generate three types of 'Smiles' – for our staff, our guests, and society. This 'Smile' isn't just for people; it spreads globally to animals, nature, and all living things. Our goal is to create a rich society where everyone on Earth can truly shine!
The Tree of Future Smiles
Towards a prosperous society in 2030, our 'tree' will grow big and flourish richly by focusing on work-life integration as its core, expanding our reach through partnerships, and creating 'Smiles' in our key development goals.
A circulating Smile
The richness that comes from future Smiles will keep circulating, and as our six capitals grow stronger, it will lead to even bigger Smiles!

Adventure World, as a 'Smile in Your Heart, Future Creation Park,' aims to create a rich future Earth where all life is full of Smiles (happiness) right here in our park.
Through our park, which is like a 'small Earth,' we'll keep creating future Smiles so that everyone involved can have a richer life, animal lives stay connected forever, and nature and resources can circulate and regenerate.

- Collecting and sharing data on rearing, breeding, and research.

- Reducing the use of paper, plastic, and other materials, and upcycling them.
- Reducing food waste
- Creating new value from animal leftovers and waste.

- Developing and selling products that are good for the environment.

- Raising awareness about SDGs and important social issues.

- We're training up people for education and research all about animals.
- We're also developing people who are super welcoming and full of hospitality.

- We team up with local communities to help boost tourism and grow the economy and culture.
- We work with zoos, aquariums, and research places to help protect biodiversity all over the world.
- With our business partners' help, we're making sure our sourcing and product development are sustainable.
- We're helping out with developing new tech and running trial experiments.
