Adventure World will hold a special ceremony on Sunday, March 1st to celebrate the "first seasonal festival" of the Emperor Penguin chick born on September 30, 2025, coinciding with the March 3rd Girls' Day festival.
　Reaching five months old, the chick is shedding its down feathers and taking its first step from baby to juvenile. At this milestone, the results of its sex determination will be announced with a festive surprise performance themed around Girls' Day. During the ceremony, the chick will also be fitted with an individual identification band on its wing, marking its official entry into the park's community of approximately 500 penguins.

Fish, squid, krill, etc. At Adventure World, they are primarily fed pollock, herring, and capelin.

Only two species breed on the Antarctic continent: the medium-sized Adélie penguin and the emperor penguin.While Adélie penguins breed during summer when rocks are exposed after snowmelt, emperor penguins begin breeding on winter ice fields where temperatures can reach minus 60 degrees Celsius. They raise their chicks through a fast lasting approximately 120 days, earning them the title "the bird with the world's most demanding parenting."
They reach sexual maturity around age 5. After laying eggs, females return to the sea for food, while males remaining at the breeding site fast and incubate the eggs for about two months.

The world's largest penguin, reaching about 120 cm in length and weighing up to 40 kg, it is characterized by vivid yellow coloring on its sides of the head and upper chest.It is also the only penguin species with patterned chicks, which display a tri-color plumage of white, black, and gray from birth until their first molt. Adult Emperor Penguins closely resemble King Penguins, but King Penguins are smaller at about 90 cm in height and can be distinguished by their orange upper chest.
