The Emperor Penguin chick born on September 30, 2025, reached 100 days old today, Thursday, January 8! To commemorate the 100-day milestone, an ice sculpture shaped like the number "100" was placed in the chick's rearing space, and a commemorative photo was taken.

Fluffy down feathers emerge from its belly, giving it a cute appearance as if it were wearing a stylish cardigan.

We held a talk event where our animal care staff reflected on the chick's growth so far. This morning, the Emperor Penguin chick weighed 14.8 kg. It has grown to about 50 times its birth weight of 295.9 g. We shared the joy of the chick's growth with our guests.

Under the watchful eyes of our visiting guests, we also took our first stroll around the playground.
