Yesterday (December 19), we conducted a thorough cleaning of the exhibit area, wishing for the penguins' continued health and well-being throughout the coming year.

First, the breeding staff carefully cleaned the chick-rearing space where the Emperor Penguin chick, born on September 30, 2025, lives with its parents, using deck brushes and sponges.

The emperor penguin chick stared intently at the cleaning staff, as if quietly watching over them.

Additionally, divers performed underwater glass cleaning in the penguin pool. They removed salt and grime from the glass, improving underwater visibility. During the work, the penguins occasionally approached the divers.

With the exhibition hall sparkling clean, we can welcome the new year with a fresh start alongside the penguins.
