We held a bamboo lantern workshop at the "Design for Change International Conference," where changemakers from 32 countries gathered.

Adventure World sponsored the Design for Change International Conference "Be The Change Celebration 2025 (BTC)" held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the National Olympic Memorial Youth Center in Tokyo, and conducted a bamboo lantern workshop led by park staff.
The Design for Change (DFC) International Conference is the world's largest educational program fostering the "I CAN mindset" in children, empowering them to tackle social challenges themselves. It provides an international platform where children from around the world present their year-long projects. Approximately 400 children, students, and educators from 32 countries visited Japan for this conference, gathering future changemakers.

At the workshop, Adventure World's "Panda Bamboo Project"—aiming to conserve satoyama environments and promote the circular use of bamboo resources—was introduced in English. Participants then challenged themselves to create bamboo lanterns by drilling holes into approximately 1.6-meter-tall Moso bamboo. Finally, the lit bamboo lanterns filled the venue with warm light, becoming a symbol wishing for "Planetary Well-being" across borders.

Adventure World will continue to create opportunities for learning about life and international exchange through edutainment, working alongside future changemakers to build a better society.
