WAKA x YAMA SUMMER IDEATHON2025 Final Symposium

On Sunday, November 16, 2025, the final symposium of "WAKA×YAMA SUMMER IDEATHON2025," an ideaathon on the theme of "The Burden of Family Caregiving: Toward Family and Self-Care" organized by the student group WAKA×YAMA, was held at Wakayama Castle Hall. Adventure World is a co-sponsor of this ideaathon, and in August, a kick-off program to learn "design thinking" was held in the park under the theme of "ideas for comfortable living for both people and animals".

At the symposium, as the culmination of the program that lasted about three months, a total of five teams of 12 junior and senior high school students gave presentations on their ideas for solving the burden of family caregiving. All teams presented their results after conducting interviews with experts and parties involved in the program, as well as through trial and error in workshops. All presenters listened intently to and received feedback from the judges on how to implement their ideas.

Adventure World's Director, Koji Imazu, participated as a special judge and selected the Adventure World Award from the perspective of "whether the parties involved can envision a future in which they can live happily together in their own way.

Adventure World will continue to support junior high and high school students to put their ideas into practice and solve social issues.
