Adventure World is sponsoring and exhibiting at the diversity awareness event in Wakayama Prefecture, "Rainbow Festa Nachikatsuura / Wakayama 2025"! Aiming for a society where all "lives" shine. November 15 (Sat), 16 (Sun), 29 (Sat), 30 (Sun), 2025

Adventure World will sponsor and set up booths at two diversity awareness events held in Wakayama Prefecture in November 2025: "Rainbow Festa Nachikatsuura 2025" and "Rainbow Festa Wakayama 2025." We agree with the goals of both events, which aim to raise awareness of social issues related to sexual minorities and create a society where everyone can live authentically. As a member of the local community, Adventure World is committed to realizing a society where all "lives" can shine with smiles, just as they are.
At OWLS Co., Ltd., which operates Adventure World, we are working to create a comfortable working environment by implementing internal same-sex partnership regulations and eliminating gender-specific dress code rules. Moving forward, we will continue to participate in various events, review our work styles, and deepen all staff members' understanding of LGBTQ+ issues, aiming to create a park where everyone can have fun.
~What is Rainbow Festa?~
In 1969, a gay bar in New York was raided by police, leading to riots involving thousands of people. This incident spread worldwide and became the starting point for amplifying calls for "LGBTQ" rights. The following year, in 1970, demonstrations commemorating the riots were held across America, marking the beginning of "Gay Pride Parades," the origin of Rainbow Festa. Awareness events advocating for the rights of sexual minorities spread globally, changing their names along the way, and eventually arrived in Japan. Currently, they are held as global awareness events in over 20 countries, and in Japan, they are held in various locations, mainly in urban areas, under names like "Rainbow Festa" or "Minority Festa."
~What is LGBTQ?~
LGBTQ (or LGBTs) is an umbrella term for sexual minorities, including L (Lesbian), G (Gay), B (Bisexual), T (Transgender), and other sexualities. The "Q" in LGBTQ stands for... "Queer," used as an inclusive term for sexual minorities, and "Questioning," referring to people who haven't clearly defined their own sexuality. It carries both these meanings.

~About Rainbow Festa Nachikatsuura 2025~
This LGBTQ+ awareness event is held under the theme "Ee Janai Ka" (Isn't it great?). We hope that in a free and festive atmosphere, diversity will spread throughout society and lead to new possibilities.
"Someone's 'Ee Janai Ka' might be someone else's 'Dame Janai Ka' (Isn't it bad?).
Someone's 'Dame Janai Ka' might be someone else's 'Ee Janai Ka'."
With this phrase as our motto, we aim to create a space where all participants can ask questions, think together, foster connections, and achieve harmony. They will also challenge a parade in a style unique to Nachikatsuura, within its culture and history.

~About Rainbow Festa Wakayama 2025~
This Rainbow Festa is held under the theme "Minna Isshokuta!" (Everyone together! *meaning: various people living together on Earth), with the wish that "everyone accepts each other's differences."
In our world, where there are all kinds of people—sexual minorities, people with disabilities, differences in skin color or language—it's interesting precisely because we accept each other and our differences. With the hope that it becomes a town where everyone can live comfortably, this year marks its 9th holding.
