TSURUMI Children's Hospice is a place where children with life-threatening illnesses and their families can turn their "I want to" into "I could" and spend a peaceful time. The connection between Adventure World and TSURUMI Children's Hospice
On October 21, 2018, we visited TSURUMI Children's Hospice for the first time with the animals of Adventure World and enjoyed interacting with the animals and dancing with them. In 2020, the park and TSURUMI Children's Hospice were connected via a live broadcast, and online and local events were held on the same day. This is the seventh time the event has been held in order to create an enjoyable time for children with sparkling smiles on their faces. (Matsubara City, Osaka; President: Masashi Yamamoto), which operates Adventure World (Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture), and the Children's Hospice Project (Tsurumi-ku, Osaka; Representative Director: Hideki Takaba), which operates the TSURUMI Children's Hospice, (Tsurumi-ku, Osaka; Representative Director: Hideki Takaba), which operates TSURUMI Children's Hospice, on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, with the aim of "contributing to the development of local communities where the dignity of children is protected, no matter how seriously they are ill. We will work as a partner to provide a child-like time together, no matter what the circumstances of the child may be.
About TSURUMI Children's Hospice https://www.childrenshospice.jp
Aiming for a society where children with life-threatening illnesses and their families can live in peace. TSURUMI Children's Hospice was established in the spring of 2016 in a corner of Tsurumi-ryokuchi, Osaka, by doctors and nurses who share the philosophy of "Helen House" in the UK. In Japan today, there are not enough social resources and systems that can provide children with life-threatening illnesses with the time they need to play, learn, and rest. It is difficult to see the suffering of sick children and their families, and they are inevitably isolated from society. With your support, we are working to create a society in which sick children can have opportunities to grow up and their families can move forward with their lives.
