On September 10, 2025 (Wed.), a baby peach-bellied pelican was born at Adventure World. 4 years after its birth, the baby was born at the new area "BIRDTOPE," which opened on July 15, 2025, by providing a place close to its original habitat. The newborn bird can be seen spending time with its parents.

Babies are born pink and gradually change to the protective black color. From about 3 to 4 months of age, they gradually change to white feathers, the same color as adults, and at 1 year of age, they look the same as adults.

During the winter season, the flock was kept in two separate areas to prevent highly pathogenic avian influenza, but in July 2025, the new area "BIRDTOPE" opened in July 2025, and the peach pelicans were able to live as one big flock for the first time in a long time. As soon as they started living in their new environment, one pair began to build a nest on the land. We supported them by clearing unnecessary grass and preparing nesting materials in order to recreate an ecological environment close to nature through vegetation, etc., so that they could nest safely. The final three pairs laid eggs, some of which were unfertilized, but the remaining two were fertilized. These two eggs were given to the laying parents and another pair that had laid unfertilized eggs, respectively, and a healthy baby was born without incident. （We will continue our efforts to create an environment where the peach pelicans can live in peace and comfort, and where life can be passed down from generation to generation.
