Today (September 15, Monday, national holiday), Adventure World held a special event in honor of "Respect-for-Senior-Citizens Day" to express appreciation and congratulate the long-lived animals who have been with the park for many years.

Receiving the gifts were African elephants, who have lived in the park for 47 years since its opening, and the oldest bottlenose dolphins in the country.

[Two African elephants, estimated to be 53 years old, were presented with bouquets made from their favorite vegetables and fruits!

The average lifespan of an elephant is said to be 50 to 60 years, but the two elephants are still eating well and taking it easy every day. The elephants seemed intrigued by a gorgeous bouquet of bananas, apples, and cabbages, and the guests watching them cheered loudly as they used their noses dexterously and ate with gusto!

A free elephant feeding experience was also offered to a limited number of 20 guests aged 65 and older.

Toys with messages for the two oldest bottlenose dolphins in Japan!

The two bottlenose dolphins, estimated to be the oldest in Japan at 55 and 51 years old, swim actively every day, playing with toys and communicating with their friends.
The breeding staff presented the two dolphins with toys with messages written on them to express their gratitude for their daily lives. The staff presented them with toys with messages written on them as a token of their appreciation for their daily work.

They happily swam in the water when they received their toys and enjoyed holding them, throwing them, and playing with them in any way they wanted!

This time, one of the important efforts to support the health of the dolphins, a daily health check, was also shown with explanations to our guests.

Please keep them in good health!
Adventure World will continue to sincerely care for each and every "life" of our animals so that they can live healthy and happy lives.
