To celebrate our two-toed sloth baby turning one today (8/28), we held a special event!

Before the park opened, we did a live stream! Our staff made a special cake decorated with apples, carrots, and napa cabbage, which we presented on a handmade wooden plate. Lots of guests joined the celebration through the stream!

At the event held at noon, many guests rushed to celebrate the two-toed sloth's birthday!
And guess where the baby two-toed sloth appeared from, with everyone watching? From the second floor!

Holding on tight to its transport perch, it was carried by one of our animal care staff members right onto the stage!

We presented the special cake and looked back at its growth so far.

Even though it lost its mother the day after its birthday, it's grown up so much thanks to all the love from our animal care staff and guests. Please come and see it living its best sloth life! Happy Birthday!
