On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, "Dream Day at the Zoo 2025 in Adventure World" will be held at Adventure World. This event aims to provide special experiences for children with disabilities and their families, and to realize a society where all people support each other together. The Wakayama Dream Day Executive Committee, the organizer of the event, will start a crowdfunding campaign "Dream Day 2025 for Children with Disabilities and Their Families｜Making the Special Normal" at READYFOR (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Haruka Yoneura) on August 27 (Wednesday) to achieve this goal. The event will be held on August 27, 2012.

Thoughts of the Organizing Organization "Wakayama Doriday Executive Committee
We are once again challenging crowdfunding for "Dream Day at the Zoo" to be held at Adventure World this year. This will be the 8th time we have held this event and the 4th time we have tried crowdfunding.
This initiative has brought smiles to the faces of many families. While we feel the smiles of relief and first impressions of all those who have participated, and the warm moments throughout the Park, we are also keenly aware of the reality that enjoying leisure time is not the norm for some individuals depending on their personal characteristics and attributes.
Everyone should be able to equally enjoy the "learning" and "awareness" that comes from spending time with animals, and the "excitement" that wells up from deep within.
The society we are aiming for is "a society in which everyone can enjoy leisure time without hesitation (a society in which Doriday is not necessary). With this in mind, this year we will take on the challenge of strengthening cooperation with local residents and expanding our "circle of support" beyond the park.
Together with everyone, we would like to move step by step toward a future where "a special day" will lead to "an everyday life that everyone takes for granted.

【ドリームデイ・アット・ザ・ズーとは】
　障がいのあるお子さまとそのご家族を動物園・水族館に招待し、気兼ねなく楽しいひと時を過ごしてもらうための国際的なプログラムです。１９９６年にオランダのロッテルダム動物園から始まりました。
　閉園後の動物園・水族館にご家族を招待することから、「ドリームナイト・アット・ザ・ズー」という名称で世界中に広まり、日中開催の場合「ドリームデイ・アット・ザ・ズー」と名称を改め開催されます。
