On Thursday, August 28, 2025, a baby fluffy sloth will celebrate its first birthday at Adventure World.
　Unfortunately, the day after its birth, its mother passed away, but the breeding staff has taken over its mother's warmth and artificially nursed it with love and care. In the slow days, the baby has been growing up vigorously through many "firsts," such as spending leisurely time on a branch, weaning, sunbathing, and moving to a new house as the baby grows up. On the day of his birthday, he will be presented with a "birthday cake" of vegetables and fruits, which is filled with the wishes of the breeding staff, and we will look back on his progress over the past year with photos and episodes.

Currently, he lives in Fureyu-no-sato with support from staff. They live in Fureai no Sato with support and are growing up eating apples, pellets, Chinese cabbage, and komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach). The amount and frequency of meals are adjusted daily according to their physical condition. They urinate and defecate on their own once every few days, and may excrete about 20% of their body weight. Their weight is measured once a day.

食　性：木の葉や木の実、新芽など。
　　　　アドベンチャーワールドでは主に葉食性サル用の固形飼料を与えています。
寿　命：野生では１０〜１５年。飼育下では２０〜３０年。
繁　殖：繁殖期は３〜４月。妊娠期間は５〜１０か月程で通常は１産１子。
特　徴：他の樹上生活をおくる動物と異なり、四肢でぶら下がるような姿勢で生活するのが特徴です。夜行性で、１日のうち１５〜１８時間ほどは木にぶら下がりながら眠ります。採食から睡眠・交尾・出産までも樹上で行います。
