Workshops were held to produce T-shirts and tote bags for the "5th White Rabbit Beach de Hirahira T-shirt Art Exhibition!

The 5th Shirahirahama de Hirahira T-shirt Art Exhibition will be held by the Shirahira Barrier-Free Art Executive Committee from November 1 (Sat.) to 4 (Tue.), 2025.
Prior to the exhibition, a workshop was held in the park on Monday, August 18, where visitors could experience designing their own original T-shirts and making tote bags!

Participants enjoyed a variety of experiences, such as printing their own photos, designing their own illustrations, and having an artist draw their portraits, to create their "one and only" T-shirts and totes!
Participants were able to take their works of art home with them as a memento of their visit.

The venue also became more colorful with the sale and display of works made at welfare facilities for the handicapped!
It became a wonderful art space for everyone to enjoy!

About the "White Rabbit Beach de Hirahira T-shirt Art Exhibition"
The "White Rabbit Beach de Hirahira T-shirt Art Exhibition" started as an exchange program for disabled people during the "Ki no Kuni Wakayama Cultural Festival 2021". Stake out the beach, stretch a rope, and place the T-shirts printed with your artwork as if you were placing laundry, and an automatic art museum is completed. Anyone can submit as many works as they wish. Wakayama is a town where the textile industry has taken root in the region since ancient times, and companies and welfare facilities for the handicapped in Wakayama Prefecture cooperate in the production process of T-shirts, including knit fabric production, dyeing, cutting, sewing, and printing, and use "Made in Wakayama" products.
