Adventure World will hold a special program for parents and children during summer vacation, a one-day hands-on event planned and accompanied by active trainers, "Let's Save the Sea Creatures! Shirahama Adventure Team" will be held in August 2025. This program was developed by trainers of dolphins, sea lions, and seals, who deal with animals on a daily basis, with the aim of communicating to children the "connection between the sea and life. This program is not only a fun way for parents and children to learn together, but also a hands-on experience in protecting the ocean.

What you can experience
1. Making a "cradle" for marine creatures
Using bamboo left over by red pandas, make a spawning bed for bluefin reef squid by hand and place it in the ocean
2. Talking about the ocean with an active animal trainer + snorkeling
An animal trainer of the park will give a lecture and observe marine creatures. Lecture by the park's animal trainer and underwater experience while observing and interacting with marine creatures
3. BBQ experience with local food (optional)
"Experience to eat life" tasting the bounty of the sea and local food grown in the spawning beds
4! Reflection to nurture "the ability to think"
At the end of the tour, you will receive a certificate and organize what you have learned. It is perfect for free research and summer memories!

What is the experience of protecting the sea?
Bluefin reef squid lay their eggs on seaweed, bamboo, and other "swinging things". In this program, participants will make "spawning beds" for bluefin reef squid by themselves using bamboo (leftover food) after feeding it to red pandas at Adventure World, and place them in the sea. The submerged bamboo will eventually grow seaweed, attract fish and shellfish, and become a small "sea forest"
. In other words, the bamboo becomes a cradle for nurturing life and a base for the regeneration of the sea. Bamboo, which has supported animal life, can now be transformed into the power to "nurture life in the sea. This is a nature experience program for parents and children to create such a cycle with their own hands.

*Preschool children can participate for free when accompanied by their parents, but they cannot participate in the experience programs (snorkeling, etc.). Preschool children are also welcome to participate free of charge, but are not allowed to participate in the hands-on programs (snorkeling, etc.).
