Today (August 1), we started showing mini hippos to the public at the Fureai Plaza.
The mini hippos joined Adventure World in April 2025, and have been practicing spending time at the playground since mid-July so that they can slowly get used to their new environment.

The first day of the opening to the public.
Today, we gave them a watermelon, their favorite food.
As the guests watched, the mini hippopotamus took a bite of the watermelon and then dropped it into the pool water! and dropped it in the pool water.

Afterwards, they were shown swimming in the pool with full of energy!

The mini-hippopotamus exercise area has three areas: in the shade, in the sun, and by the water, and is designed so that the animals themselves can freely choose where to spend their time depending on the conditions at that time.

The mini-hippopotamuses are open to the public.
Time: 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. *Open until 3:30 p.m. during regular hours.

*Public viewing may be suspended due to weather or animal health.

During night hours, which lasts until August 24, the mini-hippos will be open until 7:00 p.m. This is a rare opportunity to see the nocturnal mini-hippopotamuses in a more active state!
