The book "I'll Always Love You! Father Panda Yongming" is now on sale!
A book about Eimei, a giant panda who lived at Adventure World for about 30 years until February 2023, titled "I'll Always Love You! Eimei the Father Panda" (written and photographed by Machi Kobe, published by Gijutsu-Hyohron Co., Ltd.) will be available at general bookstores from August 1, 2025. The book will also go on sale on the same day at the park's gift store and the official online store, with special offers available only at Adventure World.
Yongming" was born on September 14, 1992 at the Beijing Zoo in China, and came to Adventure World on September 6, 1994 for a Japan-China joint breeding research program. After his arrival, Yongming became the father of 16 pandas: 6 with Meimei and 10 with Raohin.
In February 2023, Yongming left for the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base in China with his daughters Ouhin and Tohin. Since then, Yongming had been living a peaceful life under the care of professional staff, but on January 25, 2025, Yongming passed away peacefully due to multiple organ failure.
He contributed greatly to the development of Japan-China joint breeding research of giant pandas. Yongming" received a lot of love during his life and left us many things.
In this book, Ms. Machi Kobe introduces his history and achievements with her writings and photos!
