Adventure World will hold the "Panda Copanda Exhibition - Wakayama Adventure World Volume 1" from January 17 (Fri.) to March 11 (Tue.), 2025, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Japan-China joint breeding research of giant pandas.
Panda Copanda" is a medium-length animated film produced by Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki, which created a huge boom in Japan after the giant panda was presented to the Ueno Zoo from China in 1972. This popular interactive exhibition introduces the entire world of "Panda Copanda," now in its 50th year since its theatrical release.

To commemorate the event, "Kaedehama," a giant panda living in the park, will receive "Mimiko's Special Bamboo Lunch Box," which Mimiko made for Pang-chan in the movie "Panda Copanda.

The breeding staff put their hearts and souls into their lunch boxes! After tasting the delicious side dishes made from carrots and cookies, they even gobbled up their lunch boxes! They seemed to be enjoying themselves!
