#Living with the difficulties of life Cooperating with penguins in public relations activities of the Wakayama Prefecture Promotion Committee for the "73rd Brighten Up Society Campaign".

Adventure World (Shirahama-cho, Wakayama Prefecture) will cooperate with the Wakayama Prefecture Promotion Committee's publicity activities for the "73rd Brighten Up Society Campaign. This is a nationwide campaign to prevent crime and delinquency, sponsored by the Ministry of Justice, and features penguins as its mascot character. Since the park is home to approximately 500 penguins of eight different species, we have decided to continue our joint publicity activities as we did last year.
The Wakayama Prefecture Promotion Committee will visit various places in the prefecture to call for social interest and awareness of participation. Adventure World will hold a ceremony to celebrate the start of the campaign as a departure ceremony. Penguins living in the park will make an appearance, and a poster promoting the campaign will be donated by rakugo storyteller and "Ambassador for a Brighter Society," Ezomaru Katsura. About the "Brighten Up Society Campaign
It is a nationwide movement for all citizens to deepen their understanding about prevention of crime and non-practice, rehabilitation of those who have committed crimes or non-practice, and to build a safe, secure and bright community without crime or non-practice by joining forces in their respective places of residence. Adventure World has been a member of the Wakayama Prefecture Promotion Committee for this campaign since 2020. This year, we will continue to use the catchphrase, "Live with the difficulty of living," as we did last year, to express our wish to look forward to life with the help and support of others, despite the "difficulty of living" highlighted by the prolonged Corona disaster. is the catchphrase for this campaign.
The mascot characters for this campaign are "Hogo" and "Sara", penguins who are rehabilitated by the idea of "not travelling", "not jumping" and "penguin". These penguins are always warmly greeting those who are trying to get back on their feet and wish for a bright society free from crime and nonconduct.
