This book is based on NHK General TV "Family History: Panda Saibin - Shirahama, Wakayama This book is a book adaptation of the program "Family History: Panda Saibin - The Roots of the Panda Family" (broadcast on January 6, 2020) on NHK Sogo Television. 　Currently (April 2022), she lives at Adventure World with her father Eimei, her mother Rahin, her three older sisters, and her younger sister Fuhin, who was born in 2020 after the program aired, for a total of seven animals in the family. For father Eimei, Saibama is indeed his 15th child since coming to Shirahama. No other panda family outside of China has such a large family.
　All pandas born here are named after "Hama" in Shirahama. Therefore, this panda family has been called "Hamake" for some time.
　Without our father and mother, we would not have been born. In the same way, Saihama the panda would not have been born without his mother and father.
　In this way, Saihama's family, the "Hama family," also has a story of family history and bonding. How did we become such a large family?　What were their ancestors like? When I looked into it, I found that the family history of the "Hama family" was also spectacular and miraculous.
