September through December is a special season as five pandas celebrate their birthdays. Adventure World (Shirahama-cho, Wakayama Prefecture) will celebrate Happy Panda Season from September 4, and plans to hold birthday events as well as participatory and hands-on events with themes such as food, art, and workshops.
On September 18, 2020 (Friday), a female panda will celebrate her 4th birthday. On September 18 (Fri.), 2020, an online birthday party will be held for Yuhin, a female panda who will celebrate her 4th birthday. Yuhin will spend the night in the backyard, and the presentation of a special ice birthday cake will be streamed live.

We received 56,565 submissions during the 61-day name application period from October 1 to November 30, 2016. As a result of strict screening by the "Baby Panda Naming Committee,"
"Yuhinohama" was chosen at the naming ceremony on December 6, 2016.

Yuhama was born in the beautiful and nature-rich "Shirahama, Wakayama, Japan.
