Adventure World Cetacean Breeding Project Born November 30, 2019 Unfortunately, a baby bottlenose dolphin died!

We regret to inform you that a baby banded dolphin born on November 30, 2019 at Adventure World (Shirahama-cho, Wakayama Prefecture) unfortunately died on the morning of Friday, December 13, 2019.
The baby bottlenose dolphin was observed swimming and nursing while cuddling with its parent and child after birth. We had been watching over the mother and child, but unfortunately, the baby died. We are currently conducting a histopathological examination to determine the cause of death and to examine the organs in more detail.
Adventure World will not let this experience go to waste, and will continue to work with the animals to advance the cetacean breeding project and create the future Smile (Happiness)
with the animals.
