Change in the location where baby emperor penguins are shown to the public

The location of the Emperor Penguin baby born on October 1 will be changed from the 2nd floor of the Kaijyu-kan to the 1st floor of the Penguin Kingdom.

After the baby was born, we raised it by human hands until it weighed 800 g to prevent an accident in which it was crushed by the weight of the parent birds' bodies, and recently returned it to the parent birds on October 21. We had been supporting the parent birds in raising the baby (natural rearing), but we could not see any feeding behavior from the parent birds, so we will switch to artificial rearing to maintain the baby's strength and return it to the parent birds after it gains weight.
The babies can be seen all day long on the first floor of the Penguin Kingdom.
