"Share the Smile with Heart, a Park Creating Future Smile".
- Located in the warm climate of the Kii Peninsula, in the town of Shirahama in Wakayama Prefecture.Adventure World is a theme park with the theme "Share the Smile with Heart, a Park Creating Future Smile". There're approximately 1,600 animals of around 120 different species which make their homes on land and in water. We hope to work with the people, animals, and natural environment of our park to bring positivity to every visitor, and strive to be a force for good in future human life. We also aim to play our part in making a bright and cheery future for our society, and always be the sort of park the world needs. Additionally, like with our work with giant pandas, we have successfully bred endangered species, and are committed to conservation research.

Name changed to Adventure World in 1983
The park opened as World Safari, a recreational facility full of animals from land and sea, on April 22, 1978. In 1983, this name was changed to Adventure World. Today we put smiles on the faces of all the many guests who visit the park.
