VISION

Giant pandas bring smiles of happiness to people around the world each and every day.
Our job is to see these wonderful creatures live on into the future.

  • During a decade from around 1980, there're only about 100 pandas in zoo or research center. Adventure World started its Japan-China joint research on giant panda breeding in 1994.
  • Since then, despite numerous difficulties and setbacks, we have seen 12 successful breedings and reared 17 pandas. This makes our panda family the largest outside China.

Through careful cooperation,
we can protect these endangered
creatures for future generations.

  • Our hope is to continue creating a future for pandas. We aim to bring smiles of happiness not only to the pandas, but to the people of the future who will someday lay eyes on them.

We hope for a future in which pandas can be returned to the wild, and through our joint breeding research with China, we are working to create a sustainable breeding system.
