- A total of 30 years of joint breeding research successfully breeds and rears 17 pandas
- In September 1994, two pandas arrived at Adventure World from the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China, launching the first long-term international joint giant panda breeding research between China and a foreign zoo. This joint research initiative has since faced numerous setbacks, but determined cooperation from both nations has enabled us to overcome such difficulties. As of March 2022, the program has since seen 12 successful breedings and reared 17 pandas, 11 of which have made the return trip to China and given birth to more than 20 offspring. This gives our park greater breeding track record than any other international joint breeding facility.
