- Our 3-day program for junior high studies on SDGs leverages pandas as a point of reference to learn about SDGs. Based on their observation of and interaction with the pandas as well as information from the caretakers, students learn about panda lifestyles, the conditions in the wild, and why research on panda breeding is important. They then go on to give presentations on the challenges our society is facing under the theme of, "Understanding SDGs Through Giant Pandas." The giant pandas act as a catalyst to spur reflection on SDGs from a number of different angles, and offer a view of how all the goals are interconnected.
