As part of the SDGs exploratory study at junior high schools, a three-day program was held to think about the SDGs using pandas as a subject. Through observation and hands-on experience with pandas and talks from their breeders, students gained an understanding of panda ecology, their current situation in the wild, and the significance of breeding research, and gave presentations on social issues under the theme of "Thinking about the SDGs from the perspective of giant pandas. The giant pandas provided an opportunity to think about the SDGs from various perspectives and to realize that each goal is interrelated.
