Why 'Make the Earth Your Own'?
-
Now's the time for a big shift in how we think! We need to consider the richness of not just human society, but also animals, nature, and all life.
-
The challenges of aiming for biodiversity and a circular society aren't just for animal or nature lovers. They're 'our own thing' – a challenge for all of us involved in business!
We truly believe that if companies and individuals in every field think about animals, nature, and our planet through their work, and then act on it, the world will get better super fast.
What's the 'Make the Earth Your Own' Program all about?
-
Our Program's Goal
To gain a global sustainability perspective and a mindset for change -
This program is all about developing the next generation of leaders who can contribute to global social issues. We're striving for a sustainable world where everyone shines, and where not just humans, but also animals, nature, and all life can choose to live in a richer way.
Here at Adventure World, a place full of nature, we partner with about 120 species and 1,600 animals. Through immersive experiences that engage all five senses, we help you gain a sustainability perspective and use art thinking to put your 'Origin (≒Purpose)' into words.
Our goal is to develop people who can think with a bigger picture in mind and drive themselves forward!
- Want to develop people who can think about sustainability and contribute to the SDGs?
- Looking for ideas for new businesses that can help solve social issues?
- Want to train leaders who can drive change towards sustainable organizations and businesses?
- Ever wonder, 'Is this really for me?' or 'I don't know what I truly want to do'?

Discover your origin through Art Thinking (and set your personal purpose!)
By using all your senses and doing thought experiments that look at time and space in a big way, you can put into words and show your 'origin' – that's what shapes your personal values and philosophy.
We aim to help people develop into 'paradigm shifters' who can dream up big, sustainable societies and businesses, all driven by their own inner motivation.
※Jointly developed with Emika Owa, President of Bulldozer Inc., a creative powerhouse and paradigm shifter.

Participant Voices / Company Voices
- Adventure World Sustainable Smile Ambassador
Representative, HI LLC
Japan Representative, One Young World (Youth Davos Conference) Ms. Ibun Hirahara - By interacting with animals, I could truly feel the Earth and face the many emotions that welled up inside me. Through a unique space that's hard to experience in daily life and a framework called 'art thinking,' I made new discoveries and connections. By personalizing the Earth's issues, the boundaries of life seemed to melt away.
- Dekai Utsuwa Co., Ltd. Mr. Shin Tanaka
- While we usually live within a capitalist economy, it's easy to forget something obvious: that humans are part of the natural ecosystem. Realizing this simple truth, I felt it was important to cherish the feeling of connecting SDGs to my own work, rather than just seeing them superficially.
- Dekai Utsuwa Co., Ltd. Ms. Sachiko Takeda
- Up until now, my understanding of my own values was just a collection of disconnected points. But through this workshop, I could see what I truly value. All those points connected, and my life philosophy became crystal clear.
- HI LLC (Intern) Ms. Miki Kawamura
- I looked at all the fundamental aspects, and I also looked at the very roots of my own business. I re-examined why I want to do this business and its meaning. I feel like I was able to bring things back into alignment that had slightly strayed from my core.
- T.K
- I used to think that training sessions always had ready-made answers, but here, I often found that only I had the answers, or that discussions made me think deeply. I really felt the importance of real-life experiences, like animal care and bonfires.
- HI LLC (Intern) Mr. Haruma Iizuka
- I realized that I'm deeply moved the moment one life connects with another. I also reconfirmed that the self-realization of the people involved is one of the values I cherish most.
- O.M
- I realized that personalizing the Earth's issues is something anyone can do, anywhere, right now. If everyone thought that way and cherished their surroundings, I truly believe that animals, humanity, and the Earth could continue to thrive.
