During this special season for pandas, the park has hosted "HAPPY PANDA FES," a series of participatory and hands-on events in the park and online, including birthday celebrations for the pandas, food, art, workshops, and more.

Saihama" birthday party
8月14日は「彩浜」の誕生日。「彩浜」の名前にちなんだ虹の形をした氷や年齢を表す氷をプレゼント。バックヤードで過ごす様子をご覧いただきながら、出生当時から現在までを振り返りました。

Rahama" birthday party
September 6 was the birthday of the mother panda, Yoshihama. We presented her with an ice cake and looked back on the past child-rearing efforts made by the breeding staff and the mother panda, who is now very good at raising her.

Birthday party for "Eimei
September 14 was the birthday of the father panda, Yongming. We presented many kinds of bamboo and ice to the gourmet "Yongming" and traced the history of "Yongming" from the time he first arrived at the park to the present.

Yuhama" birthday party
September 18 is Yuhama's birthday. The breeding staff presented Yuhama with a new playground equipment and ice as a gift for her inquisitive nature. Photos and videos of Yuhama from the guests on the official SNS were shown at the party.

「楓浜」誕生日パーティー
November 22 is "Maple Beach" birthday. We gave her special building blocks and "Kaede"-shaped ice. It was the first birthday party for "Kaedehama," and many people congratulated her through official SNS.

Sakurahama" and "Momohama" birthday parties
12月2日は双子パンダ「桜浜」「桃浜」の誕生日。氷と雪で描いた「桜」と「桃」の木をプレゼント。公式SNSにてゲストの皆さまからいただいた「桜浜・桃浜」のシンクロ写真を紹介し、双子ならではの特別なパーティーとなりました。

Otsukimi Night" with pandas
This is a special event to relax in the park after business hours and enjoy the autumn sunset while mingling with and loving the giant pandas. This event was held exclusively for guests staying at the tie-up hotel in Nanki-Shirahama.

パンダ仮装イベント「なりきりパンダ！フェス」
ハロウィンシーズンに合わせ、パンダのフェイスペイントやマスクペイントなど、パンダ仮装を思いっきり楽しめるイベントを実施。たくさんのパンダ仮装をしたゲストが来園されパークがパンダ一色に染まりました。

Art Competition "Panda Art Fest Contest
The theme of the contest was "#Panda Swamp," and we called for works that would get people more and more into the depths of the giant panda. Many unique works of panda art filled with thoughtful individuality were gathered from all over Japan.

Panda festival food "Harvest Festival
Beginning with the limited-time Panda Fest Meal at the Park Restaurant, local restaurants and high schools opened their booths to sell panda gourmet foods and menus using local ingredients. The festival was enlivened together with the local community.
