The Breeding Center is a facility that focuses on breeding research, and mainly raises giant panda parents and their offspring. In the indoor public birthing room, visitors were able to see mother pandas raising their young up close through the glass. In the past, the Breeding Center has had 21 births, 17 of which have been fostered.

- IoT project for panda facility started!
- As the first phase of the IoT project for panda facilities, a guard lock system (electronic lock system) was introduced to the backyard of Pandalab, a rare animal breeding center where giant pandas live, to enhance safety and efficiency in breeding operations. By using computers to control the opening and closing of locks and doors, accidents caused by human error are prevented, and the breeding environment has become safer and more secure. The advantages of the electronic locks include the LED lamps installed on each door, the monitors provided, and the patrol lamps, which make it easier to grasp the open/close status of locks and doors, and the incorporation of logic control, which limits the locks and doors that can be opened, thereby improving safety. In addition, the status can now be monitored from remote locations through PCs and cell phones, improving the safety of the keepers' work and strengthening the safety management of the entire park. We will continue to introduce cutting-edge technology to create a future park where people and animals are safe and all living creatures shine with smiles.
