It has been decided that three of Adventure World's seven giant pandas, Eimei, Ouhin, and Touhin, will make the return journey to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan, China in February 2023.

Eimei turned 30 years old this year. He has been the foundation of our giant panda family, and fathered 16 offspring. He has continued to update the highest age records for natural breeding, and made great achievements in the Japan-China Joint research on giant panda breeding.

Ouhin and Touhin are twin sisters who turned 8 years old in December.

As we see them off on their return to China, we offer our deepest thanks to Eimei, and look forward to Ouhin and Touhin's future breeding prospects.

We will publish more details about a sending-off ceremony for them at a later date.
