On the morning of February 22, 2023, the three pandas left Adventure World and flew for Chengdu, China from Kansai International Airport at 7:15 p.m.

They arrived safely at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in Sichuan, China later that evening at 11:15 p.m. (local time) and entered quarantine at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.

During the flight from Kansai International Airport to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, Eimei ate bamboo and slept soundly after landing. Ouhin seemed tired from the change in surroundings, but was relaxed nonetheless. Touhin showed some unease, but settled in after some time.
