5. About the future
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your support of the Joint Project for the Conservation of Giant Pandas, which has watched over us for the past 30 years. In August of this year, the term of the current joint project will expire, and following discussions between Japan and China, four giant pandas, Ryohama, Yuhama, Saihama, and Kaedehama, will return to Chengdu, China, in June, when the temperature is relatively cooler. We hope that the four pandas born and raised in Shirahama will be healthy and happy in their new home. Adventure World will continue discussions with the Chinese side to continue the joint project and make further contributions.

6. profile of returning giant pandas

◾️ Rahama
Date of birth: September 6, 2000 (age 24)
Place of birth:Adventure World
Sex:Female
She is the first giant panda born in Adventure World. As a youngster, she was very naughty and loved to play with tires and balls on the playground. Ryahama raised many children as a kind mother and became a mother panda as good as Meimei.

◾️ Yuhin
Date of birth: September 18, 2016 (age 8)
Place of birth: Adventure World
Gender:Female
Yuhin weighed 197 grams at birth, making her the largest baby panda ever born at the park. The name "Yuhama" is a symbol of the wish that the panda family, which extends all over the world, will pass on to the next generation the precious things inherited from the past and create a sustainable future full of smiles by "uniting" all values, cultures, languages, and species. The pointy top of his head is his charm. This feature has been noticeable since he was about 4 months old when he started walking on his own.

◾️Saihama
Date of birth: August 14, 2018 (age 6)
Place of birth:Adventure World
Gender:Female
Weighing only 75 grams at birth, Saibin is the smallest panda ever born at the park. Her small size and the love of her mother and father, Ryohama, have brought courage and hope to people. The name "Saihama" is a wish that she will continue to add color to everyday life and create a bright and positive future Smile (Happiness). The children have grown up without any serious illness or injury and are in good health.

◾️Fuuhin
Date of birth: November 22, 2020 (age 4)
Place of birth:Adventure World
Sex: Female
The birth of Fuhin in the midst of the spread of the new coronavirus has brought bright hope and healing to many people. The name "Kaedehama" (meaning "maple beach" in Japanese) was chosen in the hope that, like the beautifully changing maple trees in autumn, she will be loved and warmly welcomed by many people as she matures and grows. The baby was so active right from birth that it almost rolled off its mother's stomach.
