Fiordland crested penguin (Eudyptes pachyrhynchus)
They are said to be the most temperamental of the 18 species of penguins. They build their nests out of grass and branches on flat or gently sloping terrain surrounded by cliffs, and lay two eggs. The male and female take turns to lay eggs.
