Red Kangaroo

This is the largest type of marsupial! Small groups come together to form larger ones, but they don't have family or blood ties, and their genders and ages vary. The kangaroo boxing you might see in a group is usually males fighting over females. When a baby is born, it's only about 2 cm long! It quickly moves into its mom's pouch all by itself and stays there for about 8 months.
