African elephant (Loxodonta africana)

The largest animal on land. They are very cautious, and they make sure that everything they put in their mouths is touched or smelled with their noses at least once. They can also use their noses like hands to deftly lift objects and pick up small objects. Their large ears play a role in regulating body temperature.
