Adventure World, on the theme of the contact with lots of animals, is located
in Wakayama prefecture in Japan. This is the place you can see animals
of the land, sea and sky. Adventure World have carried out breeding and
research of the species in critical danger of extinction and the breeding
and preservation research program has been bearing fruit steadily in an
ideal rearing environment.

| Giant Panda "Happy Plan" |
| In order to preserve and increase the number of pandas in the wild, ongoing
research in rearing animals in capativity under the threat of extinction
is very important. At Adventure World, in order to carry out research of
Giant Pandas, we have been carrying out research under the auspices of
the Japanease branch of Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in
China. In 2000 Rauhin was born, the following year Yuhin was born, in 2003
Ryuhin and Shuhin were born, in 2005 Kouhin was born, and Aihin and Meihin
were born in 2006. Our Giant Pandas breeding and preservation research
program widen a circle of "Happy Plan". |

| Zoo Bank |
The aim of Zoo Bank is to preserve endengered species under refrigeration.
Here in Adventure World, we preserve conjugation of mammals like giant
panda, cheetah, chimpanzee and etc with institutions of university and
etc.

| Breeding and Research of Cheetah |
| Adventure World has been dedicating to cheetah research and succeeded in
rearing about 120 cheetahs during 28 years which is the best record in
Japan. |

| Penguin Project |
This is the project to preserve and increase the number of Penguins. Adventure
World succeeded in hatch and rearing, and breeding and research of Adelie
penguins, Chinstrap penguins and Gentoo penguins since 1990. We have also
started study and research of King penguins since 1992, Emperor penguins
since 1997. In 2004, Emperor penguin's egg hatched for the first case in
Japan, which is the second case thoroughout the world.
